Hello dear readers! A few days ago, spring finally has come, and I would like to talk about what excites most owners of smartphones running on Android.
Why did I talk about spring from the very beginning of this article? The point is that I am the owner of a HTC smartphone myself, and it is March, when the HTC company promises to release the first batch of updates for some devices ... But let's talk about it one after another and more detailed.

As company representatives report, its developers have worked hardly the latest few months to prepare the update to ICS in the stipulated time. And just recently, it became known exactly that the first Android 4.0. updating wave towards the end of March will include the following smartphones: HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XE, HTC Sensation XL and HTC Sensation 4G. A little later, we can expect updates for HTC EVO 3D, HTC Incredible S, HTC Desire S and HTC Desire HD. The company doesn’t provide more precise information yet.

This company also has shared its plans on releasing Android 4.0. updates for their devices with the world. It is reported that in the first quarter 2012, information on the ICS update possibility will be available for owners of Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Galaxy S II. Later, the owners of Samsung Galaxy R, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, 8.9, 7.7, 7.0 Plus will receive their updates, too. Besides, Samsung Galaxy S (and modifications), Samsung Galaxy Tab 7, as well as all younger devices won’t get ICS updates at all. I also remember you that the Samsung Nexus S is the only one device that has already received this update.

According to published information, the first phones from this company, which will get the mobile platform update, will become the models RAZR, MT917, XT928 and Xoom (with wifi). This event is going to happen in the second quarter of 2012. As for the PHOTON 4G, ATRIX 4G, XOOM 2, XOOM 2 Media Edition and XYBOARD 8.2 and 10.1, the update for them is expected only in the third quarter. Motorola has promised to release an Android 4.0. update for the DROID and ELECTRIFY modifications; however, the company keeps silent about terms.

This company is already going to release an update for its tablet Iconia Tab A200, which has appeared on the market just a few months ago. And owners of Iconia Tab A100 and Iconia Tab A500 have to wait just until April. In April, the company promises to release Android 4.0. updates for these devices, too. For the present, Acer says nothing about the remaining models.

In the first stage, smartphones LG Optimus LTE, Prada, LG Optimus 2X, LG Optimus Sol and LG myTouch Q will get an Android 4.0 update. These updates are scheduled to release in the 2nd quarter of 2012. In the 3d quarter, the models LG Optimus 3D, Black, Big, Q2 and EX will join them.

The company promised that its tablets Tablet S and Tablet P will eventually get an Android ICS update, but has not yet announced an exact date. So, many people began to doubt whether these devices will receive updates at all. However, we get rumors from the depths of Sony itself that the updates are ready. Now, there are being debugged and tested.
The update to a new Android version itself can be managed even by a child. All companies are interested that their updates are always installed, so do everything very easy. So, you just wait until your smartphone (connected to the Internet, of course) suggest OS updating, agree, and enjoy the latest version of your favorite operating system in a couple of minutes. Just don’t forget to check the settings whether the automatic checking for updates is turned on!
